Check with your doctor before traveling. Depending on the severity of an individual’s MPS I, they may have limited mobility and may need to travel with medical supplies, and caregivers. Before any trip, make sure that everything you need can be brought with you or will be available at the new location.

If you are flying, call the airline in advance to make sure they can accommodate your needs and to discuss their additional services for passengers with disabilities or medical conditions.

If you or you child are currently receiving medical care for your disease, ask your healthcare team about obtaining medical care in other locations.
